As a professional paramilitary organization founded in 1962, the Valkyries follow an organized structure similar to that of a military division. While the Valkyrie operatives on the ground are mostly female, the organization as a whole has evolved over the years to include both male and female members. The technology used when building the flight suits, which are powered by Hadronium and a proprietary DNA supplement, only activates when two X chromosomes are present which is why there currently aren't any male pilots.
